We can now screen record in Lollipop without Root and ADB commands as well. The previous version of Android which had KitKat that requires for screen recording a rooted device and for non-rooted device it is possible through Android Debug bridge (ADB) Commands { http://sh.st/ifyQf } which is not simple! Big thanks to Android Lollipop because they includes a new Android Media Projection API (Android Program Interface) that basically apps capture everything on the screen.

Root means to get administrator access to the phone.
